About the artist
Eugénie Lavenant was born in 1975. She created the graphic journal Tricote in 2005. In 2008, she participated in an exhibition at Agnès b, in Paris and Hong Kong, exhibited in Paris and then in Berlin, and also contributed to the magazine Rock and Folk. This was followed by Cocaïne and chaussons blancs, in 2010, portraying the everyday life of Amy Winehouse, then La Messe est dite, in 2011, written by Marc Villard. In 2012, she worked with Jean Vautrin to produce the cartoon Le Pogo aux yeux rouges and the graphic novel Babyboom in 2015. Eugénie is currently working on a personal text and a short story by Romain Slocombe.
