About the artist
Benoît Guillaume was born in 1976. After studying at graphic design school in Quimper, Paris and New York he worked as a graphic designer before becoming a freelance illustrator. He designs and produces a few animated films, focusing primarily on comic strips and drawing. La Cinquième Couche, L’Association and Cambourakis regularly publish his work in the form of small lightweight books or publications. Adapted from a novel by Marie Ndiaye his next book will be published in January 2018 by Actes Sud BD.
