About the artist

Alexey Kozhenkov was born in 1993 in Riga, Latvia. He currently lives in Moscow. Started taking pictures in his youth, during travels and “urban exploration” which was his hobby. However after graduating from university, photography as his passion begins to grow into something more. The turning point was a visit to Copenhagen in 2017. The modern architecture of this city made a great impression and inspired him to develop as a photographer of architecture and urban landscapes. Alexey sees the beauty in forms and wants to show the world the way he looks at architecture. His passion for travel enables him to take shots from places that are relatively rare in the media. His works, which combine thoughtful geometry on the one hand, and lyricism and atmosphere on the other, are recognized both online and in photographic contests and magazines.
